So big!-5 weeks

Alyssa is just getting so big. She is weighing in close to 10 pounds! thats 3 pounds in 5 weeks. A few of her pants are getting a little tight, but thats partly due to the cloth diapers. She is finally big enough to use her bumbo chair and looks so cute it! Shes still a little wobbly to the sides so we have to stay close but she actually likes it. She is just looking so grown up to me and shes feeling more solid and not like a little breakable newborn.
Dave went back to work on Tuesday leaving Alyssa and I to fend for ourselves. We have managed to do laundry, househunt, and have dinner ready so I'd say we are doing pretty well by ourselves. Speaking of househunting, we finally put an offer in on a house. It needs a little bit of work so we are going to fix up the kitchen and repaint. We haven't heard back yet though if they accepted our offer or not, lets hope they do! The house is close to base so it will be a short drive to work for Dave and I'll also be close to the commissary and gym (once I finally get cleared to work out at my 6 week checkup which i can't wait for!). Not being allowed to run during my pregnancy because of the problems in the beginning and now not being able to run until at least 6 weeks out has really got me anxious to start back up. I have almost lost all the weight and all my clothes fit but I could still use some situps to get back to where i want to be.
we are making our trip to Maryland the 23-27th of this month so let us know if anyone wants to come by and meet the little one, we love to show her off :)!
