36 weeks

Less than a month to go now! I had my 36 week appointment today and it was just the routine weight, blood pressure, baby heart beat, and my belly measurement. I weigh 132 (21 pounds total now), her heart beat was 150 beats per minute, and my belly measured right where its supposed to (about 36 cm) . They also checked to make sure she is head down with ultrasound real quick, and she is. I saw my new doctor, who is so much nicer and actually has a good bedside manner. We discussed induction more because of Dave's winging situation and shes still okay with inducing at 40 weeks, maybe a few days before. I will probably wait until 40 weeks though to make sure I give her the time she needs to mature in there (although she is full term next week!).
Not too many complaints this week. I am not sleeping as well but they say thats the anxiety and excitement of it all being so close, plus the uncomfort of being huge. Speaking of comfort...I got a 1 hour pregnancy massage today before my appointment, a birthday present from Dave, and it was wonderful. He probably gave it to me so he could have the day off from all the rubbing I request from him. For my birthday a few weeks ago Dave actually did a relaxation theme, which was really sweet. I got a bath robe (vera wang, the only thing designer I own and he got it on clearance which made me proud!), 1 hour massage, a body pillow, and a back/foot massager. Dave only has 5 flights left (including tonight's flight) before he is officially a pilot! So by the end of this week, maybe early next week if weather doesn't cooperate, he will be finished with flight school! We think his winging date is going to be Sept 12th, 4 days after my due date, so we should have a big week! Baby on Monday, winging on Friday, move shortly after.
